Fairfield by Marriott and TownePlace Suites by Marriott Corbin hold ribbon-cutting

CORBIN— A ribboncutting was held in conjunction with the Southern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce January 2026 luncheon to celebrate the official opening of the Fairfield by Marriott Corbin and TownePlace Suites by Marriott Corbin, located at 157 Arena Drive just below the hill from the Corbin Arena.
During remarks, developer and president Don Howard with H & W Management Company thanked community leaders and guests for their support, noting the project marked a fullcircle moment for him after previously living and working in Corbin early in his career. Howard shared his excitement about returning to
the community and contributing to its continued growth through the dual-brand hotel development.
“ It was really kind of déjá vu turning around and coming back, and actually getting an opportunity to come back to Corbin and do another hotel, and get involved with the community,” said Howard.“ We’ re really excited to be here, and we really thank you all for coming.”
Howard also recognized members of the project and operations team— including hotel management, sales, design and construction partners— crediting their collaboration for bringing the project from concept to completion. “ We’ re just really, as a community, can you believe that we got a hotel of this caliber in this town right now? They didn’ t have to build as nice of a place as they did, and this is going to serve the community for many, many decades— and we are just so grateful,” Mayor Suzie Razmus said.
