Russ Van Wyk loves working with his hands .
A skilled woodworker , Van Wyk has lent his craftsmanship over the years to both ends of the “ housing spectrum ” — to flip and renovate old , historical homes and build spec houses from scratch in Pella .
Now , Van Wyk is using his experience of flipping houses coupled with his expertise as a realtor in the housing market to help raise funds for his alma mater , Pella Christian Schools . And it all started with his love for woodworking – and his community .
