From common mistakes to creative solutions , here are seven things to consider when remodeling your kitchen :
1 . Storage space – Everything needs to have its place in the home , and organization is the key to efficiency in the kitchen . “ Just making sure it ’ s organized so that everything is in its place , that makes everything more efficient ,” Ross said . She suggests that instead of filling your kitchen with the traditional cabinet , you consider adding some large drawers to allow for easier organization and access . “ If you ’ re thinking about each cabinet , [ add ] big drawers so that you can pull everything out and see it ,” she said . “ I try to make people think about each cabinet , what you ’ re going to put in there and how you can make it work the best .”
