What do you offer your clients when it comes to design and marketing ?
I work full time as a marketing manager for a large engineering consulting firm , CMTA . For a professional services firm such as this , it is critical to provide clients a clear understanding of the services that are available to meet their needs . In my role , it is imperative to convey the value of partnering and technical qualifications to decision-makers and facility owners . This is completed by developing strategic and compelling responses to proposals for services as well as developing graphic presentations . In addition , I work alongside the marketing / business development team to develop thought-leadership content to be distributed via print publications , speaking engagements and digital platforms .
In my spare time , I provide freelance graphic design services for various clients in the region to meet their visual needs . The contracted work includes logo development , print publication layout design , illustrations , marketing collateral design , social media graphics and more . This work requires a keen understanding of various client ’ s branding standards , visual identity , messaging and audience .
Why is it so important for local businesses to invest in marketing tools ?
Marketing is imperative to increasing awareness and engagement – ultimately influencing the buying decisions of consumers . Local businesses can often leverage their connections with the local community to drive awareness , but it shouldn ’ t be the only strategy to see growth . Marketing tools such as websites , SEO , social media , branding , graphic design , public relations , CRM systems , direct mail campaigns , etc ., can help shape the success of the business .
There are many marketing tools available to achieve your business goals , which can seem overwhelming without a clear understanding of your target audience , how to develop messaging or even how to employ your brand . Since local , small businesses don ’ t typically have an entire marketing team , utilizing the services of a marketing firm can be key to developing a marketing plan and narrowing down the tools that will drive sales for your business .
