Our children are naturally structured to observe us at an early age and mimic our every move . They watch us eat , sleep , play , clean , leave the house for work , etc . We get into such a routine of the norm that we never actually take a moment to stop and wonder what life could be , life outside the norm . If a different routine was set . If we showed our children other choices . If we introduce them to the world of entrepreneurship .
All of the favorite past time children ’ s games and toys are geared towards sparking their creativity . Think about it , they love playing store or house . Hide-and-go-seek is a game of endurance to the end , tag is a game of leadership skills , you know who can actually accept their role to tag
everyone .
The little girls love painting nails and doing hair , so natural born hair salon owners . Children are born with natural entrepreneurship skills and exercise them daily as they grow .
But they began to also watch and mimic their parents .
They begin to conform to the norm of waking up going to work and their creativity slowly is also transformed to by time they get to high school children are wanting jobs instead of creating them .
I have never been the norm type person , more like someone who takes the road less traveled .
I knew I wanted to own my own business at the same time I did wonder what type of effect that would have on my children .
By going for my dreams , living my life as I want to live it , my children have learned that the norm jobs are the
backup plans or what they do to help fund the dream . But doing something that makes you happy is a direct reflection of never working a day in your life .
As a parent I decided to let the road less traveled be life teaching us , life letting us grow , we all know that life lessons are the best ones right .
