as far as being pre-approved. You’ve got to get
all of that squared away first so that you can act
quickly on homes right now because they are
flying off the shelf at crazy prices. If you stay
patient, get your things in order, you’ll have a
good shot at getting what you want.”
Southern Indiana is a good market because
of its proximity to Louisville and also because
of the quality of the people and businesses here,
Harris said.
He’s also noticed that the home-buying trend
isn’t limited by age.
“There are a lot of younger people buying
their first homes a little bit sooner than usual
and seeing the investment potential in purchasing
a home and owning real estate versus paying
rent,” Harris said.
Howard Team Real Estate also has the expertise
of Andrew Shaw in marketing and Andrea
Fullen, who is the administrative assistant and
the “glue to our team,” Patti said.
Away from the office
Harris and Zach said they love to go camping
and play golf when they’re not at work. The
two have had quite a few experiences together
over the years, and they partnered on a landscaping
service before deciding to try their
hands at real estate.
Patti said religion is also a driving force for
the trio.
They have a passion for fellowship, spirituality
and serving a higher cause. Patti said
the realty business is really just an extension
of their love of God and desire to help others.
The team exemplifies this not just by selling
homes, but by being a partner for community
events and supporting charitable causes.
Recently, Howard Team Real Estate purchased
meals for the Charlestown Police Department,
as Patti said it was just a small way of showing
appreciation for people who work hard to
protect and serve others.
