Can you believe the

HOLIDAYS are here again ?

Are you the kind of person who wants to put up Halloween decorations in September ? Do you like to get your Christmas tree up the minute after you finish Thanksgiving dinner ? It seems like the holidays come earlier and earlier each year , but maybe the so-called “ Christmas creep ” isn ’ t always a bad thing .

This year you might as well do whatever brings you the most joy . Even if it ’ s visiting a pumpkin patch when it ’ s still 80 degrees outside or creating your own winter wonderland in the yard , before the first snow flake hits the ground .
In this edition of Southern Indiana Business Magazine our stories look at making this time of year easier for everyone , even if you don ’ t celebrate certain holidays . Don ’ t feel like cooking multiple big meals ? We talk to local eateries that ’ ll make the food for you .
If you ’ re looking to get out of town for a day or a weekend , we ’ ve got a review of other spots here in the Hoosier State where you can plan a quick getaway .
The holidays aren ’ t fun for everyone . Southern Indiana employers and counselors are working together to make sure people can deal with any stress , depression or anxiety at this time of year and always . We talked to them about where people can get some help and how businesses can support their workers .
Finally , for everyone who hasn ’ t started their shopping yet - we took a look at the best gifts to give business people this holiday season . You ’ ll be shopping local too .
May you all have a wonderful and bright November and December . We ’ re looking forward to being part of it .
