“ My grandparents owned a restaurant since I was little so my dad really like had me in the kitchen since I was a kid ,” Hook said .
Since she was exposed to cooking for her whole life , she gained a passion for it . Hook loves how she can be creative and the freedom it gives her .
“ I like being able to be creative , I don ’ t think I could do the same thing every day ,” Hook said . “ We get to kind of have freedom to make whatever you want each day and elevate up and be creative .”
The bakery offers cookies , pies , cakes and many more . During the fall season they have pumpkin rolls and caramel apples . They start making fall and Halloween themed pastries at the start of October . Everything Sweets by Morgan makes is made from scratch . “ We make everything from scratch , that ’ s our biggest thing is everything ’ s homemade ,” Hook said . “ There are no pre-made frostings or anything like that , it ’ s so gross when you bite into a cupcake and it ’ s greasy .”
Her favorite thing to make are cupcakes because of all you can do with them , from the flavors to decorations .
