Holiday dinner is easy with these Southern Indiana businesses

The holidays are a time for family and friends to get together , give gifts and have a big meal to celebrate . Making a meal for the holidays can be a hassle , especially if you are making dinner for a big family , but there are resources that can make dinner for the holidays easy . Many restaurants and bakeries in Southern Indiana offer meals and desserts for you to take home and prepare with little to no hassle .

If you need help getting a Thanksgiving dinner or a Christmas ham , you can go to Taylor ’ s Cajun Meat Company , 3306 Plaza Drive # 190 , in New Albany . The restaurant started in Aug . 2018 and has been selling the popular holiday meals since .
The company offers cuts of meat that you would not see normally at the grocery store , such as alligator , stuffed quail and many more Louisiana classic dishes . They offer more than just cajun food , they have normal cuts of meat that you could find at the grocery store , the difference is that they have the option to prepare it so all you have to do is put it in the oven before eating it .
Ellis Taylor , the owner , every year sells turkeys during Thanksgiving with the option to already have it prepared with spices so all you have to do is put it in the oven and let it cook . They offer turkeys from the sizes of 12-14 lbs and 16-18 lbs .
“ We offer a plain turkey for people who just want a big turkey or fried turkey ,” Taylor said . “ And then we do a cajun turkey which is where we just stuff the breast and thighs with onions , bell pepper and garlic and then season it so you can bake it or fry it .”
They also offer a deboned turkey and along with different options to stuff it with , like cornbread dressing , rice dressing and many more . They also offer a turducken that will be stuffed with pork sausage and cornbread dressing .
