Single best thing about being involved — living and
working — in Southern Indiana:
Clark and Floyd counties is a special place, full of individuals,
organizations and businesses that are willing and ready to step up
to help in tough times. There’s no question that the community
spirit and pride in each of our local cities and towns is what makes
Southern Indiana extra special to me.
How has the coronavirus outbreak impacted your life
most and what will you tell future generations about
COVID-19 from your perspective?
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected nearly every aspect of my
life, from work to fun and family. While the threat is severe and
scary at times, it’s been a welcomed changed in pace — people
sitting outside or on their porches, parks and walking trails are
extremely active and we actually have time to pick up the phone
and reach out to an old friend. Every generation has its challenge,
and this is ours. I’ll use the coronavirus in the future to remind oth-
ers how quickly our everyday lives — our freedom to do what we
want, when we want — can change.
