2017 DARIAN ESWINE Community Relations & Marketing coordinator at Catholic Charities of Louisville Inc. 24 May / June 2020 Darian Eswine has had quite the journey since first being identified as one of Southern Indiana’s most promising young people. That process started at Personal Counseling Service in Clarksville. There, she was the development and and communications director, focusing mainly on marketing and donor development. She had degrees in journalism and English, so it made sense for her to apply those skills in the marketing field. After over a year with Personal Counseling Service, she took the leap over to Hand in Hand Ministries. “I had a very similar role,” she said. “I did their development and communications and a lot of their social media and design work. I got to do a lot of international trips, which was very cool.” About eight or nine months in, however, Eswine made one final change. The next move landed her at Catholic Charities of Louisville, the largest group she’s worked for in her career. She was passionate about both her previous roles, but Catholic Chari- ties was an entirely different animal. She went from working with just a handful of people to 84 staff members. Eswine describes herself as a jack of all trades, of sorts.
