Andrea Kyro
General dentist with
Mortenson Family Dental
If you could put your time and/or
money into one thing in south-
ern indiana to make it better,
what would it be and why:?
Our schools. I live student ministry,
so I’m with teenagers all the time. Help-
ing them realize while they are young,
even starting at an elementary age, is so
vitally important to the health and well-
being of our community. Kids need to
know that they are loved and have a
purpose.
How has the coronavirus out-
break impacted your life most
and what will you tell future gen-
erations about COVID-19 from
your perspective?
The biggest impact the coronavirus
pandemic has had on me personally is
the physical distancing between my
church family and myself. My job has
been affected, yes, I’m seeing fewer
patients and our team has been stripped
down to the bare minimum, but I am
still providing for my community with
offering emergency care to help keep
patients out of the ER. I still have a
job. My involvement serving Eastside
though has come to a crashing halt.
During a normal week I serve in a
variety of areas, including kids ministry,
student ministry, missions and whatever
