“Articles at a time for free is kind of the point. No one has to buy my book, but I want to be able to contribute something,” Takami explained. “It’s nice that the cul- ture of these young people have so much heart, but I think they also have a lot to learn.” He hopes to help teach them, as so many have taught and mentored him along his journey. “What to do when it’s your turn — people pouring into you, learning, grow- ing, realizing that you better do your best, because there may be someone walking in your footsteps or may be someone looking at you,” Takami said.
