Salvaged doors of various sizes lean against a wall within the barn.
Tyler does all his marketing via
Facebook, and says people have
come from as far away as Tennes-
see, Ohio and West Virginia to shop
in his barn. “They’ll come from
about anywhere to buy the right
thing,” he said, and a big part of
that is the item’s origin story.
“The key is to learn the stories
and pass those on to the people
who are buying,” he said. “We love
when we can share the history of
the item, where it came from, who
had it before.”
His advice for reselling? “Start
small, break in, and grow,” he said.
“Don’t chase the trends. You have
to do what you enjoy so that makes
it fun.”
Rusted metal jugs hang from a line over a work bench within the barn in the foreground with countless other
