Stepping
Andrew Takami starts business to help nonprofits

a self-described safe person, who is averse to risk-taking,
Andrew Takami is breaking his own mold.
Now, he’s stepping out, starting a business that will help nonprofit organiza-
tions grow and succeed.
It all started with a simple book.
“And it’s a picture book,” Takami said, laughing.
The book, titled “What to do when it’s your turn [and it’s always your turn]”
by Seth Godin, opened his mind to taking a leap, going from the safe world of
working for local colleges to starting a consulting business, Andrew Takami
Philanthropy.
