Planning the

Wedding Season is fast approaching which means so are Bridal Showers ! A bridal shower is a very important and special event for any bride . It is a time for her to gather with her close family and friends and celebrate her upcoming wedding , so you ’ ll want to make sure that planning for the shower is flawless . Use this timeline to help plan your bride ’ s perfect shower .

1 . Preparation

1 . Pick a date . Showers are normally held two weeks to two months before the wedding . The earlier the better .
2 . Compile a guest list . First ask the bride whom she would like to invite . But as the host you should also be comfortable with the number of guests .
3 . Choose a theme . There are so many great shower themes . You do not have to choose a theme , but it is always fun to have one .
4 . Determine the location . It could be your home , a friend ’ s home , or a nearby venue .
5 . Buy or make an invitation . Be sure to include registry information and any other important information . If the shower is a surprise , be sure to clearly state that .

2 . Four to Six Weeks Before the Shower

1 . Send invitations . Make sure you ask guest to RSVP so you know how many will be attending .
2 . Decide on decorations and centerpieces . If you have a small budget , ask friends to help . Search “ DIY ” bridal decorations on Pinterest for tons of projects !
3 . Plan a menu . Will you have a full meal or just finger foods ?
4 . Prepare an activity . This is always a must at a shower ! There are many great activities such : as making toilet paper wedding gowns , bow bouquets , etc . The internet is a great source for fun ideas .
