VAPING IS NOT SAFE !! The popular misconception is that vaping is safer than smoking regular cigarettes , but the reality is no tobacco products , including e-cigarettes , are safe , especially for children , teens and young adults . Vaping liquid usually contains nicotine , flavorings , up to 30 cancer-causing chemicals , heavy metals such as nickel , tin , and lead .
Locally , the Adanta Regional Prevention Center has created a social media campaign , called “ Choose You ” Kentucky . Through the Choose You campaign , efforts are being directed at prevention of the use of vaping and smoking through education , support and community collaboration .
