Melinda said one reason she wanted to have the store in Nancy was to help the people in the community.
Melinda has a deep love for her community and is always trying to assist her neighbors in any way she can.
One way she does that is by providing free clothing to those with the greatest need, through a program she calls Helping Hands.
“ We have a lot of people in the community that, for one reason or another, they are raising their grandkids," said Melinda. " If they need shoes or they need school clothes, small furniture or whatever, they can come in and just say,‘ Hey, I need a little extra help.'
“ They don’ t need a voucher or any kind of paperwork, Melinda Roberts and Glenna Henderson in front of one of Henerson ' s hand-made quilts.
