" We also offer communal cremation for families that choose to do so where we humanely take care of the ashes for them. Those families also receive the ink paw and nose prints to take home with them as well."
Midway Veterinary Hospital also provides boarding services for all size pets. They have hospital boarding for sick pets so families can have peace of mind knowing that their fragile pets are being cared for by a trained technician 24 hours a day.
" We have hospital boarding. So, say you have a diabetic pet you don ' t want to leave just anywhere; we have technicians here to make sure they are being monitored and their insulin checked. And we also have oxygen cages for babies coming in with heart failure or breathing problems," said Phelps.
Midway also offers day time boarding for people who just need to drop off pets while they are working or just need help during the day.
Longer-term boarding is also available for vacations or other times when you are out of town or are unable to care for your pets for a time because of medical issues. Long-term boarding is really popular during fall and spring break
