This year , the women are bringing even more Christmas spirit with The Night Before Christmas walking tour .
“ I wanted to have something that all of the members could be proud of for our Christmas project ,” Collette said . “ I think we mainly just enjoy seeing people having a good time and just making a big deal of Christmas for families to have a reason to come downtown .”
The story will begin at
Hawkeye Real Estate and take readers on a loop around the Square , hitting 15 local businesses . Each storefront will contain a poster with a page of the story , each designed by a different local artist .
Merchants will then design their storefronts to go along with their section of the story , adding even more unique touches for all passersby to enjoy .
Though the tour will be up for the season and can be self-guided , there will be
