What is Move Assist?

Moving house is not something most people do many times in their lives and sometimes it is the first time they have had to do it on their own. It is understandable therefore that they will not know how the systems work and more importantly how not to make costly mistakes. Although we will hopefully find a buyer you and your solicitor will deal with the legal side – there are so many other factors involved. A few of these include preparing your house for sale, organising an energy performance certificate, filling in all the sale protocol forms, answering enquiries, organising surveys on your next home, arranging finance, packing and removals, organising utilities, notifying people of your change of address etc. etc. etc.

Wouldn’t it be easier to have someone to help with all this? Someone who you can trust and is truly working for you. Someone who is going to make the whole process as painless as possible. Someone who you can contact outside of the traditional 9-5 working hours, seven days a week. You have nothing to lose by talking to us and potentially so much to gain.

Do you own a second home?

Wouldn’t it be nice to know that if there is an issue with the home or maintenance required whilst you are away – there is someone local who will be there to sort things out for you?

We offer a bespoke property concierge service to suit you and your second home. throughout much of the South Downs National Park.

Simply call or email us, outlying your needs and we will provide you with a free, no obligation quotation and recommendations. Naturally you can change your needs at any time and we do not tie you down to a any long contracts.

Property checks

Visit the property on a regular basis as agreed. All keys securely stored.

An email will be sent after each visit to confirm that all is well with the property and accompanying photos included to demonstrate any maintenance or security issues we feel you should be aware of.

Cleaning/laundry

We can organise for the property to be thoroughly cleaned after you leave including washing up and having the bed linen and towels etc. laundered and placed in the property shortly before you arrive. An ideal option if you intend to lend the property to family or friends or if you occasionally use the property for holiday lets.

We can also organise window cleaning.

Pre-Visit Inspections

We can arrange for your additional residence to be completely ready for your arrival.

We can switch on the heating system so its nice and warm and cosy when you arrive for your winter break – the water will be hot so you can jump straight into the bath or shower. During the summer we can even have the BBQ ready for your summer party.

Groceries

We can arrange for groceries to be waiting for you at the property avoiding the need to have a tiresome stop on the way to your holiday home, or worse still – arriving and realising you’ve forgotten the milk!!

Holiday Cover

We can also look after your home and garden whilst you are away on holiday. We will be a useful key holder for emergencies, look after your gardens, clean the property, feed your small pets, water your plants, put the bins out and even arrange for groceries to be waiting for you and the heating on.
