Molly Clancy crafts words into
Angela Hopper-Lee
Angela (Angie) Hopper-Lee has a bachelors degree in Pho-
tography and drawing from SCAD. Angela first attend S AD
for illustration with an interest in illustrating childrens books.
She has been working as a photographer in Savannah for over
15 years and has enjoyed working with families and business-
es. Her other loves are singing, animals, and of course her
family Wayne and Annabelle! Angela and Wayne are excited
to announce their new business The Bull Street Light Room.
This is a Studio Share for photography, videography and also
an event space for exhibitions and small events. Additional-
ly, Angela is partnering up with Rich Burkhart to begin new

fiction, taking early morning dog walk

Robyn Passante is a longtime jour-
nalist and former Lowcountry resident
and regular South contributor. She
now lives in central Pennsylvania with
her two boys and is managing editor
of the Penn Stater, an award-winning
bimonthly magazine of the Penn
State Alumni Association, the largest
dues-paying alumni association in the

Todd Stone
As a photojournalist and later a commer-
cial freelance photographer, Todd Stone
has accumulated a long list of accolades,
appearing in numerous publications in-
cluding Newsweek, Time and USA Today.
He was also the on-set photographer for
recent films, “Fireproo ” and “Coura-
geous.” He and Cindy, his wife of 30 years,
have two grown children. See Road to
Glory on page 26.
Barry Kaufman
Barry Kaufman (pictured at right) is a
long-time contributor for South mag-
azine now entering his 17th year as a
transplant from the frigid climes of the
North. Beyond his work for the magazine,
he is a regular contributor for various
publications around the southeast and
freelance copywriter whose work can be
found at kaufmancopy.ink. Read Tom

Nelson is a New York native, Marine
Corps Veteran, with a passion for
photography. His daughter is his
“why,” and most importantly, she’s
his “everything.” They are a team that
