CONTRIBUTORS CONTRIBUTORS Justin Jarrett Emilie Kefalas John Fulton John Fulton is an Atlanta-based photographer, director, retoucher, CGI artist, and an “Archive Top 200 Advertising Photographer Worldwide.” His clients include AT&T, Honda, Coca-Cola, Delta, Aflac, and Ritz-Carlton, among others. In the few moments that John isn’t working, he can be found exploring the nooks and crannies of globe, backpacking in his native Colorado, or just enjoying life with his family and hoard of animals in their historic Old 4th Ward neighborhood. Check out “Damn Good Dog” on page 62 and Que on one of four collectible covers. Emilie Kefalas is an experienced writer and journalist based in Burbank, California. Originally from Decatur, Illinois, she has contributed to South Magazine, Savannah Scene & Savannah.com, Connect Savannah, DoSavannah, and ANNA Magazine to name a few. An alumna of SCAD’s writing program, Emilie currently works with the external communications team at Disney Parks, Experiences, and Consumer Products. On the side, she freelances for South and Automotive Internet Media, and runs her video baking blog, RandEm Recipes. Justin Jarrett is a recovering newspa- perman and college sports information director turned self-employed sports media dude living in Bluffton, S.C. A graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, Jarrett also has a master’s in sports management from Georgia Southern. In June 2017, he founded LowcoSports.com, a website covering local sports in the South Carolina Lowcountry. When he isn’t writing, Jarrett loves coffee, running, and spending time with his wife and two children. Check out “Love Your Kaos” on page 96. Madelyn Brown Shayna Colvin Shayna Colvin is a 23-year-old pho- tographer from Southern California. She received her B.F.A. in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2017. Aside from her passion for photography, she has been riding horses since she was 12, joining the SCAD equestrian team in her college years. “Southern & Charmed” on page 130 shows off her talents. 18 SOUTH MAGAZINE August | September 2018 Madelyn Brown captured stories in the armed forces as an Air Force photojour- nalist for seven years. After graduating from San Francisco State University, she returned to the South and currently lives in metro Atlanta with her husband and daughter. She spends her time attending the Savannah College of Art and Design and traveling to her favorite place in the wor ld, the Smoky Moun- tains in East Tennessee.
