Emilie Kefalas
Emilie Kefalas is an experienced writer,
concept developer, and journalist
who prefers to be called “Em.”
Originally from Decatur, Illinois, she
has contributed to South magazine,
Savannah Scene and Savannah.com,
and ANNA Magazine to name a few.
An alumna of SCAD’s writing program,
Emilie also runs her own video baking
blog, RandEm Recipes. Read “That’s

Mark & Lisa Staff
Mark and Lisa Staff are Hilton Head Island–based photographers
with a satellite office in Charleston. They have been shooting
fashion and commercial lifestyle for 28 years. Besides
photography, they enjoy traveling to remote exciting places in
the world to experience different cultures and take the road
less travelled. Pushing the boundaries of one’s comfort level
allows you to see what you are made of and take yourself to new
levels, says Mark. This also applies to their work. They strive for
perfection and drive for the extraordinary. Check out “Heaven’s

Jonathan Oppenheim
Jonathan Oppenheim has spent
most of his life in the Southeastern
United States, but loves to travel in and
outside the country. He is a recent grad-
uate from Savannah College of Art and
Design and uses his love for storytelling
to further his career in photography.
He spends his time hiking, running,
and photographing everything from
automobiles to weddings. “Power of
the Spoken Word” on page 36.
Kelly Harley D. Paul Graham
Kelly is a writer and social media
strategist. She believes everyone and
every business has a story worth
sharing and her sincere passion for her
work was the driving force behind her
social media management company,
Social Creative. From her early days as
a television news reporter to her time
spent managing Gulfstream Aero-
space’s social media, her experience
in storytelling and social media spans
nearly 16 years. Read “From Passion
to Profit” on page 66. D. Paul Graham is a transplanted Ca-
nadian who has been a part of the Sa-
vannah community for 10+ years. He is
passionate about people and culture, is
a lover of fast cars, embraces his wan-
derlust, and his photography is inspired
