As impressive as the Warriors are at the skilled positions , they are especially strong along the line of scrimmage with four starters returning .

“ We don ’ t say enough about offensive linemen in this great game of ours ,” Boggs said . “ To have four guys returning as starters there , starting with the anchor at the center position in ( senior ) Jackson Vaughn . He continues to get stronger . Our right tackle is ( senior ) Mac Duck , who will be a four-year starter and is weighing in at about 285 ( pounds ) right now . Our left guard ( junior ) Chapman Wolsfelt will be a three-year starter . ( Junior left tackle ) Cole Warren , who ’ s being pushed by JT Reed , started for us last year .”

One Warriors assistant proclaimed it is one of the stronger teams the Warriors have ever fielded .

Brookwood will be just as talented , experienced and deeper than in years past . It should also allow for fewer players to have to play both sides of the ball the whole game .

“ When you do have guys going both ways , if you lose one , you lose two starters . We ’ ll still have some of that , but I do think we ’ ll have more of a luxury than we ’ ve had in a lot of years ,” Boggs said . “ We ’ ll have some one-way players which will obviously help you win the second and fourth quarters , which is a huge deal .” n
