PetSavers is a division of the British Small
Animal Veterinary Association we have been
dedicated to improving the health of the
nation’s pets since 1974.
PetSavers funds crucial clinical research
designed to advance our knowledge of
conditions affecting small animals and with
potential to relieve illness and suffering.
Our projects are selected in the hope that
study results will have a rapid and positive
impact on the way diseases are diagnosed,
managed and treated in general practice as
well as at a specialist level.
There are currently two types of PetSavers’
Grants a Master’s degree by Research
(MDR) and a Clinical Research Project
(CRP).

The Big Dog Bed Company designs and
makes stylish and practical dog beds in the
UK. They have a dog bed for every situation
and with their made to measure service,
they can also make one to fit just about any
location. Their high tech fabrics exclude
water and are antibacterial, keeping the
cushion dry and odour free.
With six different fabrics and over 60
different colours on offer, they have a dog
bed to fit pretty much any colour scheme.
For an extra special look, there is their
hand made solid oak frame. The highest
quality components and clever construction
are combined to provide beds that are
robust, good looking and very practical.
A combination of firm upholstery foam,
memory foam and high quality polyester
fibre are used in their bed cushions to provide
excellent, long lasting support. The option of
a duck feather cushion is also available for
smaller dogs. All components meet CRIB 5
fire retardancy regulations - unique amongst
dog beds. The Big Dog Bed Company aims to
provide the best sleeping environment for the
dog whether at home, in kennels, at the vets,
or on holiday. Their Active Recovery Bed is
a specialist pressure relief bed for older dogs
or those with problem joints. The castellated
structure allows the individual foam elements
to move directly in response to the amount of
pressure applied. This differential movement
of individual foam cells ensures an even
distribution of pressure thereby minimising
loading to any one area, helping to reduce
inflammation and pain.
The Big Dog Bed Company is confident that
you won’t find the same combination of size,
firm support, washable, antibacterial and
waterproof covers in any other dog bed
on the market.
