Compact, clean and efficient mobile dryer Dan-corn offer a simple three modal range of mobile grain dryers with capacities of 10.3, 18.5 and 28.5 t.p.h. drying wheet at 100oC hot air temperature. They are compact, simple to operate and produce minimal dust during operation with the larger two dryers including as standard a “vacuum cooling” heat reclaim system which can offer up to 30% reduction in fuel used. Prior to delivery all dryers are filled with grain and fully tested at DanCorn’s premises to check all fuctions to ensure they are thoroughly pre-tested and fully operational ready for harvest. A Dan-Corn engineer commissions all new dryers all new dryers after delivery to the farm. The dryers all LPG fired to guarantee the best possible clean burn, free from the contamination which can sometimes occur with oil fired burners and are complete with integral vaporizers wich in turn feed into fully modulating gas control train maintaining a constant temperature and minimal gas usage. Dryer functions are automatically controlled from a demountable touch screen via sensors located throughout the dryer. Automoisture control is achieved via a sensor located within the grian flow before it leaves the dryer and is data logged with access to information from a user friendly demountable touch screen which can located up to 8m from the dryer. Although portable, the macihines can be used in fixed locations and are very suitable for upgrading from older low profile dryers such as Allmet or Alvin Blanch where there may not be enough room to install the larger mobile recirculating batch or tower dryers due to height restrictions.
