Actors Ensemble
Workshop
Saturday 08 December
10am-4pm
The Source Arts Centre looks to identify and
develop a group of actors who might be available
to work on productions in the Tipperary area over
the coming years. This second workshop for 2018 is
held over one day and looks to bring together semi-
professional and professional actors, who live in the region and work through some
scripted scenes in a supportive group setting.
Facilitator: Roseanna Purcell is a professional actress working in the Irish industry for
over six years. Recent credits include ‘Signatories’ (The Olympia Theatre), Red Rock
(TV3), ‘Test Copy’ (written and performed by Roseanna) with most recent
performances in ‘Copper Face Jacks The Musical’ by Paul Howard at The Olympia
Theatre this Summer.
Admission to the workshop is free. Places are limited and must be booked by email in
advance from: [email protected]
Fracture Youth Theatre is resident at The Source Arts Centre and back for the autumn
season. We are looking for new members to join our group. So, if you're between 13 and
17 years old and looking for something fun and exciting to be part of, Fracture Youth
Theatre is it! We meet every Saturday afternoon in the Source. Experienced theatre
practitioners Joanne Quinn and Mary O’Neill lead and direct the youth theatre.
NO experience is necessary. Fracture YT is an excellent programme for young people to
make new friends, develop communication skills and build confidence through theatre
games and improvisation.
Cost: €50 per term. Fracture Youth Club Members enjoy discounted theatre tickets at
The Source Arts Centre (subject to availability). For more information please contact
