Time: 7:30pm Price: €15/12 conc.
In an interdisciplinary dialogue with
composer HAUSCHKA and three
dancers, Alexandra Waierstall creates
a physical landscape where
movement is weaved like a long
breath through ever changing
relations of sound and silence. The
movements are blind and the body
determined by its own boundaries,
going heroically through different
processes. The performance shines a
light on what is determined by fate by creating constantly changing situations,
hinting at scenarios of what could have been or what could have become.

frank Pig Says hello
Saturday 13 October
Time: 8pm Price: €15
Twenty-five years after its first groundbreaking
tour, Pat McCabe's legendary play (based on his
novel ‘The Butcher Boy’) returns to theatres
across Ireland, in a new production that
brilliantly captures the original.
Featuring mesmerising performances by two
actors, Darragh Byrne and John Ruddy, ‘Frank
Pig…’ is regarded as one of the most vivid,
hilarious and heartbreaking evocations ever seen
on a stage of an Irish childhood and adolescence
gone wrong. From the opening live trumpet
notes over an image of a happy, comical boy
acting the piglet, to the breathtaking depiction
of a dark deed, this is theatre at its most
entertaining and gripping best.
Directed by Joe O'Byrne with Set Design
by Robert Ballagh and Lighting Design by Conleth White.
