Chloë Grace Moretz plays Frances, a young
woman working as a waitress in New York and
sharing an improbably huge apartment with
her friend Erica. Frances is sad and depressed
due to her mother’s recent death. But one day
she finds an expensive-looking bag on the
subway and out of charity takes it back to the
owner. This is Greta, played by Huppert, an
elegant, inscrutable woman who seemingly is
overcome with gratitude. She asks Frances in
for tea and soon confides her own loneliness as
a widow. They somehow become close friends,
but it isn’t long before Greta is becoming scarily
clingy and controlling…

This is a really fun and fast-paced event
involving readings, writing tips, a furiously in-
depth discussion between Dave and Cat on the
things you absolutely need to know about to
be a writer, the most embarrassing things that
have happened to them on the path to getting
where they are, and every subject in between.
Spot prizes for great questions, plenty of
audience interaction and everyone leaves with
a sheet of writing advice written by Dave and
Cat. This is going to be epic!
Cat Doyle is the author of the ‘Storm Keeper’
series and Dave Rudden is the author of
‘Knights of the Borrowed Dark’ series.
