“ While we live in a land of abundance , we must not forget there are many families across the U . S . who don ’ t have enough food , leading to food insecurity / insufficiency . As farmers and ranchers producing an abundance of food products , we want to make sure there is enough nutritious food for everyone . At the same time , we want to make the most of food at our disposal ,” Price said . “ Today , 4-H teams from Arkansas and Tennessee took items commonly available at food pantries , or in retailers like Dollar General and Walgreens , and made nutritious meals that taste good ; it ’ s an important connection to make .”
