Discover the life, love and poetry of an oft-forgotten Irish hero Francis Ledwidge, in a new play by award-winning playwright, Gerard Humphreys.
Redmond has made the call for Irish Volunteers to fight with Britain in Europe and to go“ wherever the fighting line extends”, leading to staunch opposition from other Volunteers. A split in the ranks is forming.‘ Ledwidge’, explores his personal conflict during World War I, his early life as a trade union organiser and his relationships with two women – Ellie, and later Shivvy. Touching upon themes of class, war and nationalism,‘ LEDWIDGE’ presents its subject in the context of his art and politics, bringing to life the adventurous spirit of Ireland’ s greatest war poet.

The Elle Academy of Dance is proud to present their ballet production of Sleeping Beauty. Bringing every child’ s beloved fairy-tale, Sleeping Beauty to life, this classic story of love and innocence, mystery and magic is set to Tchaikovsky’ s enchanting score.
Students from aged 3 years and up will take to the stage to perform in this wonderful production.
