Legend In Japan
Claiming to be the bastard child of Billy Talent and The Offspring, London’ s Legend In Japan are a bunch of rebellious knaves in an age of pop prince and princesses.
Formed last year, the band( fronted by a somewhat familiar face) have shared stages with the likes of OPM, Kid’ s Can’ t Fly and Summerlin, with festival sets at Scotland’ s Wickerman and
Blackpool’ s
Rebellion.
With a sound that’ s fast paced and grimy, Legend in Japan stand aside
Loose Lips from the stereotypes of punk and beyond thanks to informed opinion, and a Rage Against The Machine level of angst and attitude.
Intense, relentless and energetic, they’ re set to be more White Riot than Kabuki Theatre.
A pop-rock trio bound to burst from the underground of Brighton and Hove, leaving crowds dancing and jumping along the way.
With infectiously catchy tones that leave air guitar fingers twitching, the band skate around the lighter side of punk, with a love for bouncing, sweet melodies and brutally honest songwriting.
Influenced by the likes of Paramore, Biffy Clyro, John Mayer, Kids In Glass Houses, The Who and
Alkaline Trio, Loose Lips incorporate a long line of musical history into their loud and callous sound.
With a new EP, Spitting Teeth, released at the end of May, there’ s plenty of these guys to catch up on.
