Architecture as a Stage for Movement
‘ developed their film ‘ Architecture as a Stage for Movement ’ to try and interpret the emotions that the majority of of people have been forced to accept . In the same way that the film illustrates movement of shadows and the life behind stillness , the bridge between light and darkness allowed them to acknowledge the notion of time and what changes or remains the same in the city they live in .
The film aims to capture the relationship between movement and architecture and its ubiquitous interaction of light and shadow exhibited both in Liverpool and Yorkshire . The nature of using film as our form of media allowed them to appreciate the stillness of man-made structures which take on the changing elements of the environment they exist within . The final outcome demonstrated a socially distanced project between students in Liverpool and those working from home through the notion of time as something that proceeds on despite the conditions that individuals are facing . 66
