One film photography project I have done since being at university in Liverpool is a project called ’ 51 Fabric . This is the idea that Liverpool is made up of a unique ‘ fabric ’, which unifies aspects of the whole city and is sewn together by the thread of intense energy within it . The positive Liverpudlian spirit is a huge part of this fabric and is integral to its makeup .
This project really brought me into different spaces and made me observe the city from many different angles . The cover photo chosen for this anthology demonstrates this and represents some of the contrasting aspects of the fabric of Liverpool . Through the photographs in this project , I attempted to document the way I saw this fabric emerging through the makeup of the city ’ s landscape and people into the view of the human eye .
