MA Architecture
The Architecture MA is designed for graduates and architects in practice wishing to further specialise in architectural design , develop their design and technical skills , or follow a design / research path to PhD .
What will this programme involve ? Programme Overview You ’ ll study a range of academic , research-based topics in specific areas that reflect your experience and interests . You can personalise your studies for the Architecture MA with a number of specialisms . These include architectural theory , virtual reality and environments , climatic design , environmental assessment , parametric modelling , and sustainable design . You will meet professionals from world famous offices such as Hetherwick ’ s Studio , Foster + Partners and Zaha Hadid Architects , who are regular guests in our design reviews .
You will participate in exciting field trips and visit world-leading exhibitions and practices .
Please note , this programme is designed for those wishing to undertake postgraduate studies in Architecture , but will not provide British Architectural accreditation status . This programme does not carry RIBA / ARB accreditation .

Programme Entry Requirements
To be offered a place on the programme , you will normally need to have a 2:1 Bachelors degree ( with Honours ) or better in an appropriate field of study , such as Architecture , Landscape Architecture , Interior / Art Design , Civil / Structural Engineering , Urban Design .
English Language Entry Requirements All applicants must have reached a minimum required standard of English language and are required to provide evidence of this .
