Sooner State Abate Sentinel Volume 4 Issue 2 The Voice of the Oklahoma Confederation of Clubs Motorcycle Rights Organization consultant, public relations specialist, radio broadcaster, reg- istered tutor with the Oklahoma City Public Schools System, former case manager, and former mentor for the United States Department of Justice, Western District. She won her election to District 99 of the House of Representatives in November 2006 and District 48 of the State Senate in November 2014. Pittman is the second Seminole citizen to serve in the legisla- ture and currently serves with several state and local civil right groups. Senator Pittman has received international honors from Turkey, Malaysia, and Israel. Senator Anastasia Pittman has received numerous honors in- cluding 2013 Woman of the Year Nominee, Outstanding Com- munity Service Recognition for Magic Star Foundation from former President Bill Clinton, Asian Legislative Excellence Award, and the Media Advocacy Award from the Oklahoma Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. She also received the State, District and National TRIO Awards, and the Oklahoma Achiever under 40 Award. She also hosts he Anastasia Pittman Show, co-hosts on Caliedascope Radio Network, and featured guest on the Touch 1140AM, and Heart & Soul 92.1 FM. Oklahoma Confederation of Clubs and Senator Pittman Long time motorcycle rights supporter, Senator Anastasia Pittman, spoke Sunday March 04, 2018 at the Confederation of Clubs meeting in Oklahoma City. Senator Pittman has been actively working with Sooner State ABATE to advance legislation for ALL Oklahomans, to defend our civil rights. With her continued support, the Confederation of Clubs (CoC) and Sooner State ABATE will be able to improve how the Oklaho- ma Congress addresses issues relating to motorcycle riders and no-riders alike. Senator Pittman announced her bid to run for Lt. Governor for Oklahoma at the CoC meeting as well. With a resounding approval, the CoC Board of Directors joined in her campaign. A donation was made to aide in her election on the CoC’s behalf. The CoC Board of Directors ask for your help in Pittman’s election to Lt. Governor. Lawn signs, volunteer time, and be- ing well informed on the issues in our community will greatly affect the outcome in the upcoming vote. And of course, getting to the election polls on November 6th, to make your voice heard. Pittman, originally a resident of Miami, Florida has resided in Oklahoma for over 35 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Public relations from the University of Oklaho- ma, and a master’s degree in Urban Education & Behavioral Science from Langston University. Pittman is an educator, The Oklahoma Confederation of Clubs promotes communica- tion and education to and between all motorcycle enthusiasts. Our strength is a Confederation of Clubs coming together to defend our Constitutional rights and further our motorcycle lifestyle through education and the political process.
