Make-up

Do I need to use a professional hair & make-up artist?

This is totally up to you, but I would suggest having your make-up done professionally. These ladies know how to enhance your best facial assets.

If you do decide to do your own make up, then take note of the following:

* Do not apply too much foundation, you only need to apply a little and blend it into your skin with a small sponge. You only want your skin to look naturally smooth and not over done.

* Natural looking colors works the best. You do not want to look like an adult with too much make-up.

* Liquid eyeliner on your top lid will look great, but remember if you have small eyes you should not use eyeliner on your bottom lid as this will make your eyes look even smaller. A white eyeliner brightens up your eyes so apply this on your bottom eye lid.

* Mascara is a must and 2 coats will make your lashes look full and longer.

* Rose/peach color blusher will give your cheeks a young rosy look.

* Light pink/peach lip color with a little lip-gloss is a great look for teenagers.

* Do remember that make-up should be applied a little darker than normal for your photo session, but keep in mind that you still want to look young and radiant.

Hair

* Clean bouncy hair looks beautiful in any picture.

* Curls look great on any girl with medium to long hair. * There are lots of ideas on Pinterest that you can try out if you are going to do your own hair. Be sure to try these out before the day of your photo session, as you do not want to waste time on the day to redo your hair.
