Do I have to make an appointment?
Yes, we work by appointment only. Try and book at least 2 weeks prior to your date so that we have enough time to chat about your needs and ideas for your session and plan accordingly.
Do I have to come to a pre session consult?
These sessions can either be over the phone, email or Skype if you do not have the time to come and see me in person. This session is necessary because this is where we talk about your style, what you like and dislike, clothing ideas and so forth. Pinterest is a great tool to use for ideas and this is where I start your personalized Pin Board and pin ideas for your shoot.
When is my sitting fee due?
This fee is due when you book your session.
How long does a session take?
A standard session is booked for an hour, but sometimes I go over an hour if I see more photo opportunities that I know will add to your experience.
How many photos do you take at my session?
I don't have a limit. I take as many images as necessary to get the best images possible for your session. But this does not mean I get trigger-happy and just shoot and shoot non-stop. I plan your session and tell your story through the images so I make sure that you will have enough (actually too many) beautiful images to choose from. You need to know that you will have many stunning images to choose from and this will make your task hard. You might want them all!
How many outfits can I bring?
This is something we will discuss at your pre-consulting session, but 2 to 3 outfit changes/accessories will be more than enough.
What should I bring to my session?
You need to bring your accessories, clothing and any props as discussed in the pre-consulting session. Also bring your foundation, blosser and lipgloss as well as your hair brush and hairspray.
Do you have props and do you help me with my choice of outfits?
I have a collection of props, including beautiful umbrellas, funky sunglasses, hair accessories, lots of tulle and the ruffle skirt, which Sonja is wearing on her images (and many more props). I style you according to your taste. You bring along your outfits that we decided on and I add props according to what I have in mind. This is a real dress-up session and this is what makes it fun!
