I am Jake Orr, a college-aged portrait/concert photographer from Grand Rapids Michigan. To me, photography is about conveying a message or having a meaning. I don't just shoot for fun. It's a way I can release my emotions into something visual and artistic.

The shoot I did with Sarah was big for me. I had not shot portraits in about a month or so and I wanted to take my portraits to another level. I usually have a moody style to my portraits so I also wanted to take that style to another level. I always want to get better with my edits and composition and believe I did that with this shoot.
