Q: So this is the soft opening week, so what should our readers try when they come in?
A: Anything. Just a cup of coffee, one of our pour overs. We will always have 4 different options, but they will rotate. For the grand opening we will have a great Ethiopian, Rwanda, Guatemala and Costa Rican. The Ethiopian is super good: it’s the floral, jasmine and juniper. It’s one of those coffees that if you are used to second wave you will have this blend and be shocked at all the taste. Some people have blown minds: their eyes grow big and they are shocked, but it’s just coffee—that’s what you have been missing.
Q: So finally why should people visit?
A: The taste is different, we do a lot of things that Lynchburg is missing. Instead of Frappuccino’s we do shaken teas with simple syrups, and Almond Con Miel. We do specialty drinks that incorporate coffee, that doesn’t strip it just enhances. Our environment, the seating, open space. You can see the roasting happen. I wanted a place that I would want to go, and so I wanted that opportunity for other people.
