Twisted Strawberry Lemonade

Take a pint glass full of ice add the following indredients:

2oz strawberry vodka*

1oz simple syrup

2oz freshly squeezed lemon juice

1oz strawberry purée

splash of sprite.

Then mix back and for with another cup and there you go!

For a pitcher try doing this recipe but doing it by 4.

Enjoy this on a nice warm day while relaxing on your deck or by your pool, or serve it at a barebeque with all your friends.

Instructions:

Cake:

1. Pre-heat oven to 350⁰F. Using shortening grease pans, and flour well.

2. Beat butter and sugar together until white and fluffy, using stand mixer with paddle attachment, or hand held mixer, scraping sides often.

3. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

4. Add eggs and flour mixture to your butter and sugar mix in alternating 3rds with mixer on low. Slowly incorporate milk. Scrape sides of bowl as needed.

5. Divide evenly between two pans and smooth out batter to avoid doming.

6. Bake for 25 minutes or until light brown and “springy” when pressed gently in the middle.

7. Cool COMPLETELY before filling/decorating.
