Now not all of a gentlemen’s time is spent at work. So for those days off, or after hours, we can talk about a new trend. Whether going out with your significant other or just a few rounds of drinks with friends, some of you may want to have a leg up on the other guys. An upcoming trend is the neckerchief. It’s a simple way to add texture and dimension. A simple knot of your choosing can be applied here.
Step 1: Fold the handkerchief so it’s the longest it can be. (Hint: diagonal will be best.)
Step 2: Then loop it in half!
Step 3: Take the ends loop them around the rest of the handkerchief. Or just double knot it.
Step 4: Put the ends through the hole you have created and…
Step 5: Pull and put on.
No need to get fancy with this the first few times. This is just an upcoming trend so start on it and let’s hope you beat your friends to it.
Consider this being a more street wear/simple scarf. Typically a button down with an extra button undone would look best or just a crew neck t-shirt. Maybe you like a monochromatic look, but don’t want to be dull. This neckerchief will certainly help you with that.
