Miguel Davidson
( Bard Boy / Ensemble ) Miguel is so thrilled to be back on the main stage of Theatre Cedar Rapids as part of Something Rotten ! Miguel has done various shows at many different theaters , such as Rent The Musical as his dream role : Angel , also SpongeBob the Musical as patchy the pirate , Mamma Mia as Pepper , and Bobby in Cabaret , Including others like Kinky Boots , and Rocky horror picture show . Outside of theater Miguel loves spending time with friends and family . He also enjoys spending time with his two fluffy puppies , Cosmo and Daisy ! Miguel would like to thank all of the people that have supported him throughout the years , and helped him grow into the performer he is today !
Seth Engen ( Snug / Ensemble ) Seth would like to welcome you to Renaissance England , the place to be if you love Cholera and hate every modern convenience you ' ve grown to depend on ! Seth has been on stage many a time before , such as his role as an Angel in Kinky Boots , the French Narrator in The SpongeBob Musical , and Mr . Green in Clue . Seth finds this show very relatable , as just like our main characters are struggling to write a hit play , Seth is struggling to write this bio which was due 10 minutes ago , so for the sake of brevity for both you and I , please enjoy Something Rotten ! 4 out of 5 Renaissance doctors recommend !
Katelyn Halverson
( Portia ) Katelyn is delighted to be returning to TCR for her second show ! Her first one was Mamma Mia ! in 2022 , where she played Ali . She has done several productions in Coralville and Iowa City as well , her most recent roles being Luisa in The Fantasticks , Jovie in Elf , and Elle Woods in Legally Blonde . When not performing or rehearsing , she works as a preschool teaching assistant and attends Kirkwood Community College .
