the plate with a wonderful delivery.
Kelinda: The movie has been praised
by many reputable Christian leaders
such as Dr. James Dobson, Bob
Lepine, Ray Comfort and more. They
are all saying how this movie has the
opportunity to impact a whole new
generation. What are your personal
hopes for The Pilgrim’s Progress?
Steve: My personal goal is to be the
second most watched film on the
mission field after The Jesus Film
and to encourage other film makers
to make great films specifically for
the mission field and offer them for
free! To make a film to share with
the mission field also means it has
to be a story that translates well
and, from the onset, investors and
financiers need to know, and agree,
that mission opportunities will be
given precedence over paid licensing
agreements. If we do not begin with
the end in mind, we may inadvertently
make decisions based on financial
reward that restricts the tremendous
potential on the mission field.
Robert: My hope for the film is first of
all that it penetrates the heart of the
viewer–that it encourages and inspires
believers and that it draws those that
seek something beyond this earth to a
quest of their own. I believe we all long
for heaven in some way, though she may
not know it. I think the “Celestial City”
draws us to the King and it is my prayer
that the story, the depth of the allegory,
the words of the King embedded in it,
will bring many to the Celestial King–
Jesus Christ. It is because He led
me in my own quest that I now have
the blessing of working on this film.
