Community Baby Shower There are so many families in our community who need supplies for their young children . To meet their needs , we have an annual community baby shower , and all of the clothes , diapers , and toys are free !
People begin to line up in front of our church before five in the morning . It is a joyful day , and many new relationships are formed . We have hosts from our church who walk with each family and help carry supplies too . Everyone who comes is invited to return for our weekend services , has the opportunity to take the next step in a relationship with Jesus , and makes a few new friends .
Life Groups Serving
Life Groups are a core ministry in the life of our church . The key elements are prayer , bible study , fellowship , and serving . Every group chooses one project each quarter with the goal of helping other people experience God ’ s grace in a practical way . It is powerful and fulfilling when all of our groups are involved in serving our community .
These pictures are from a meal we served , and after the meal there was a short message and Bibles were given away . It was a sweet time together , and some people who came for the dinner have now become a part of our church family .
