Rare is the day that goes exactly the way I have planned. I’ m imagining you nodding your head in agreement with me. But here’ s my problem with this: I’ m what you might call a control freak. I’ m allergic to unwanted detours. I want to go where I want to go and arrive when I plan to arrive. When I’ m there, wherever“ there” is, I expect things to go exactly the way I had imagined. I know there is no such thing as a perfect day, but I want mine to be as close to perfect as possible.
