Ruta del Arte, Frigiliana
Following the success of the first Art Route of Frigiliana 2017,
this year will see the second edition of this walk through the
beautiful streets of Frigiliana: 31 locations and more than 50
artists of 11 nationalities, a route that lets you to view different
styles and disciplines from the hand of the artists themselves.
You will have the opportunity to meet them, chat with them,
share your thoughts with them and get know the way they
work. Come and

October 5 - 7, 2018
from 11am to 2pm
and from 4pm to
8pm.

This year the Art
walk of Frigiliana has
grown. If you
enjoyed last year,
you'll love it this
time. You’ll discover
a wide variety of
media, techniques
and styles: painting,
sculpture,
photography,
collage, mixed
media, mosaic,
engraving, drawing,
ceramics, live
portrait and even, a
large metal and movement installation, created by Merel
Holleboom (location n.9). There will also be a drawing
machine that you can interact with to create your own art
work.
Organized by Maribel Martín and Brendon Taylor (Estudio-
Galería Amarte) in collaboration with the Town Hall of
Frigiliana.
The brochures will be available at the tourist office and local
businesses. Also available in the artist locations on the route.

You could attend tutored life-drawing workshops by the artist
Hilary Mullany (location n.21) on Friday, October 5 and
Sunday, October 7 for a €10 fee. Places are limited but you can
reserve a place by email: [email protected]
To discover the treasures that each artist holds, there are
brochures available with a map showing the location of the 31
exhibitions, with a picture of each artist and an example of
their work.
