4th International Art Symposium
LUZ, Competa 13-20 October
When artists from all over the world come together to share a
single workspace for a week, elusive inspiration naturally starts
to percolate. On 13 October 2018, nine talented professional
creating art. On Tuesday 16th and Thursday 18th October you
can visit the location in the natural park and enjoy a tasty
lunch there. On Saturday 20th October, all the art will be
shown in Gallery Luz de la Vida. The inauguration and
celebration takes place at 12 pm while most artists are present.

At 2pm you can book a table for an excellent lunch buffet at
Finca las Sierras.
artists will travel from different countries to the picturesque
mountain village of Cómpeta, for the 4th International Art
Symposium LUZ. They come from Poland, Italy, Denmark,
The Netherlands, Japan, Cyprus and Albanie. While they come
from different artistic disciplines and speak different
languages, each artist makes the journey to Cómpeta to share
in this exciting new experience together.
Good food, high quality art, jazzy live music, beautiful views
and a relaxing ambience assured!
The Symposium puts an international spotlight on this small
mountain village, building it a reputation as an exciting,
creative heaven for artists and art lovers alike. You’re hereby
invited to visit the village during the International Symposium!

Loth, the ‘finca’ in the
beautiful natural park turns
into a workshop for one
week, inviting visitors to
observe and talk with each
artist at work. During this
time, the artists are also
given the rare opportunity
to observe and connect
with each other while they
work.
On Saturday 13th of
October, we’ll start with
introducing the artists in
the Gallery Luz de la Vida
at 12pm. The artists will be
at work and you can
witness the process of
