Gone is the Mulberry Tree by Felicia Hall . La Herradura is a village in the province of Granada , its bay cradled between Cerro Gordo and the Punta de la Mona , in the largest region of Spain , Andalusia . Fifty years ago the village lived from fishing and agriculture ; today it lives from tourism . Here are some remembrances of people of La Herradura and the Punta de la Mona in their own words as well as recollections of the author . Many have spoken of a Mulberry tree , a beautiful full tree with large bright leaves which once graced a field , then the inside of a disk , now cut down … gone . They speak of post Spanish Civil War , the many years of hardship followed by years of plenty , and then the crisis . How is life in La Herradura today ? Is it better or worse than yesteryear ?
The Awakening Princess by Marilyn Barry . When Marilyn Barry found herself living in a house she had dreamt about six years earlier , she knew it was an omen , but nothing could have prepared her for what followed . The Awakening Princess is the inspiring true story of an interdimensional journey into the future from a past life in ancient Egypt when , during the reign of Akhenaten , the author took a major initiation in the Great Pyramid of Giza . The book
describes her visions and mystical experiences , which include encounters with nature spirits , angels , spiritual masters and ETs . It is also a wake up call to the Rainbow Warriors who , according to the teachings of the Kalachakra Tantra , will return to defeat the Lords of Materialism and establish the Fifth World predicted by the Mayans . Described by its readers as enchanting , magical and full of love , joy and humour , The Awakening Princess is an epic celebration of both the visible and invisible world we inhabit .
Flights of Fantasy by George Munday . The story behind the book stretches back some 70 years . It follows a childhood fascination with earlier times , a growing awareness of art and a lost treasure trove of paintings and sketches , the story of which can be found by clicking on the old enamel box of watercolour paints . “ It took a further 30 years , my retirement , lots of thought and a six years of research before I could set pen to paper , or keyboard to screen to be more accurate . When I eventually began writing , it was influenced by the style of Irish storytellers , the keepers of oral history in which historic facts are correct , but some creative non-fiction is added to the mix .” A beautifully illustrated , A4 , paperback book published in 2020 by Suzanne Lau in World of Creative Dreams without whom my flight of fantasy would still be just that . The book is written for everyone , from great grandparents and grandparents who lived through the events ; to young adults who didn ’ t . For those with a broad interest in the history of the first half of the 20th Century ; aviation enthusiasts , art lovers and folk who enjoy a compelling yarn …
